Brett MeyerPartner & Founder
Brett has a wide breadth of software engineering and management experience in multiple industries, including roles at Twilio, Disney, Red Hat, Raytheon, NBC Universal, and regional companies. He also enjoys public speaking on technical topics at both local and national conferences, as well as staying active in open source software communities.
His wife, Jenel, is an amazing and passionate ER/Trauma RN. She’s so much cooler than him. However, she did choose to marry Brett, which calls her standards into question…so there’s that.
Brett and Jenel play zone defense against a formidable yet adorable crew. The small humans are nice enough to let their parents feel like winners once in a while, but that’s all part of the game. (It’s also handy living with an ER nurse. Because reasons.)
Michael has always had a passion for serving others, volunteering, and helping organizations grow. In every position he has held, he has had a heart of a teacher to better the people and companies he served. Michael’s education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing and a Master’s Degree in Digital Media Communications. His past career experience has been working in the non-profit sector, higher education, and growing small businesses.
Michael enjoys being a husband to his wife, Abby, and a dad to their 3 young boys. He also nails the dance to Billie Jean. Ask us and we’ll send you a video.
Alesia ErvinConsultant, Solutions & Support
Alesia is based in Atlanta and originally from Connecticut. She completed her MPA focused on nonprofit management at Ohio University. Serving others is Alesia’s passion. She’s been able to mix her love for writing and technology into her service work.
Outside of work, Alesia is loves the New York Yankees, finding local bookstores to convince herself she’s going to read what she purchases (its a mystery to her how the newly purchased book end up in a TBR pile), finding new coffee beans, and being an Auntie.
Brian RoweStrategist & UX Architect
Brian brings over two decades of development and IT experience in a variety of settings, from advertising agencies to corporate enterprise. He most recently operated his own consulting company where he focused on his passion of digital accessibility.
Brian is the very embodiment of the phrase “jack of all trades”. First starting as an engineer, he has since become a vital partner. As a consultant, Brian directly serves nonprofit leaders. As a strategist, he’s also responsible for large-scale projects and some of our products.
Other than focusing on making digital world usable by everyone, Brian can often be found camping with his wife, Stephanie, and two daughters. And slowly smoking meat. As God intended.
Landon BaerSenior Software Engineer
After Landon graduated from Huntington University, we were lucky enough to have him start with us as a summer intern. He absolutely knocked it out of the park and we’re grateful that he has already grown into a linchpin within our software engineering efforts! Landon is a rare breed, able to effectively juggle a wide variety of projects.
He’s a fan of Ohio sports teams, but we do our best to look past that. But it’s really, really tough. When not being absurdly productive, Landon plays soccer (he was a big deal at HU), dominates recreational volleyball, and is now planning a wedding with his fiance, Kenzie.
Laura VenstromExecutive Assistant
Laura lives in Valparaiso, Indiana with her family, after previously living in northern Illinois, the Twin Cities, and Germany. She has a background in education and is passionate about volunteerism and helping people feel successful. Outside of her working hours, she is kept busy chasing and chauffeuring her three active kids and one crazy-escape-artist of a dog. Her supportive husband, Luke, is a mechanical engineering professor, and her family loves traveling, going for bike rides, and cheering on the Chicago Cubs. They are all engaged in activities at their church and in the community, especially with the kids’ sports and schools. In moments of quiet, you’ll find her reading, doing photography for fun, or taking a nap!
Rasa JakubonytėConsultant, Systems Development
Rasa lives in Jackson, Wyoming with her husband and two troublesome cats. She is originally from Lithuania where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in French Philology and a Master’s Degree in Communications in Sustainable Development. She has resided in the States for the past 7 years where she has worked in a variety of non-profit institutions including the Missouri Botanical Garden, Missouri Historical Society, and Teton Science Schools. Her experience ranges from donor relations to systems development and enabling non-profits to fulfill their mission by simplifying their internal processes.
In her free time, Rasa enjoys hiking, mountaineering, and all things outdoors. Except bears…she is mortally afraid of bears. She is also an enthusiastic supporter of human and animal rights and volunteers for organizations that focus on these efforts.
Scott PerrySenior Consultant, Systems Development
Back when a 2400 baud modem was an upgrade, and BBSs were foreshadowing the internet, Scott’s love for pressing buttons was born. Now after more than two decades in the IT industry, Scott brings a wide range of skills to the table including systems administration, networking, web development, graphic design, programming, server management, and more. He enjoys using his technology background to help others improve efficiency and maximize their potential.
At home, Scott is very blessed with his amazing wife Charissa, one daughter, and enough boys to start a basketball team. When the Perrys aren’t having a LAN party, you might find them enjoying the outdoors or doing lots of dishes.
Trent GrableDirector of Operations
Trent generally mucks around with messy data and chaotic systems, hoping to simplify decision-making for organizational leaders. He spends a lot of time thinking about thinking – how people, enterprises, and machines wrestle through turbulence and uncertainty. He has held more official soundings roles such as Director, Professor, Chief, and Founder but he’ll save that for LinkedIn.
Trent is happily married to Beautiful Kayla and has four children he likes to be around – if you include Trent, Beautiful Kayla has five children to take care of. The crew generally enjoy playing games, going on adventures, and exploring life together.
Trent is intense towards outcomes, strategic in analysis, and whimsical in demeanor.
Zach FerliseSenior Consultant, Systems Development
Zach’s career began in the non-profit industry over 10 years ago and has since worked for various organizations committed to environmental conservation, at-risk youth education, and counter-human trafficking. After finishing his Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership, he continued looking for ways to further his career in the non-profit leadership space, which lead him into Systems Development. He is a builder by nature, and Systems Development allows him to create and build solutions for others in a way that he truly loves. He has a passion for enabling organizations to be more effective in carrying out their mission, in order to create sustainable growth in service-minded organizations.
Originally from the southeast, Zach currently live in Denver, Colorado where he, of course, love all the outdoor adventures Colorado has to offer. He is a huge Colorado sports fan (go Broncos!), avid snowboarder, hiker, etc. Zach also love traveling, reading, playing golf and soccer, and is always up for trying a new coffee shop around town!
Zelle CalinaSenior Consultant, Systems Development
Zelle’s education is based in medical research. She was sure she would be a doctor, but while others were preparing for residency, she spent all her time staffing fundraisers, contributing to community projects, and volunteering whenever and wherever she could. Following grad school, Zelle realized her spirit was only kindling as a medical student, but on fire when she helped raise over $200,000 for St. Jude’s. So she left medicine behind to continue serving others in a different way, supporting non-profits with her love of data science and unending desire to learn.
Outside of systems, Zelle enjoys playing video games, making art, and assisting wildlife conservation efforts.
